About Stephen (Bunny)

Aloha—I’m Stephen Hoffmann, but most folks call me Bunny.

I’m a certified Rolfer® and somatic practitioner based in North Kohala. I work with people of all backgrounds—longtime locals, new neighbors, and travelers—offering hands-on support for pain relief, mobility, and deeper body awareness.

My approach blends structure and energy, anatomy and intuition. Whether you’re an active person wanting to move better, a kūpuna wanting to stay mobile, or a visitor on a healing retreat, I meet you where you are. My goal is always the same: to help you feel more at ease with your body.

Rolfing® Bodywork

A hands-on method that helps align the body’s structure and relieve long-held tension. Whether you sit at a desk, surf, hike, work in the fields, or care for family, this work helps you move with more ease and comfort. It works on your body’s connective tissue—the stuff that holds everything together beneath your skin.

Meridian Flexibility Training

Based on The Genius of Flexibility, this style of assisted stretching works along the body’s energy lines to improve range of motion, posture, and flow. It’s especially supportive for athletes, kūpuna, or anyone feeling tight, stuck, or worn out.

Reiki & Energy Reset

A gentle, quiet form of healing that works through light touch to calm your nervous system and support whole-body balance. Great if you're feeling anxious, tired, or spiritually drained.

Custom Sessions

Most people benefit from a mix. We’ll talk before your session and decide what’s best for your body today.

Rates + Out-Call Options

  • Full Bodywork Session (In-Studio): $160
  • Out-Call (North Kohala): $180
  • Out-Call (Waimea/Resorts): $190–$210
  • Reiki / Energy Reset (45 min): $90 (In-Studio only)
  • Sliding Scale: $60–120
  • Kōkua Sessions: $0–40 (limited availability)

I offer sliding scale sessions for residents, artists, activists and non-profit warriors who need support. Just ask. No judgment, ever.

*Visitors are warmly welcomed—many people use their time on island to restore, reflect, and reset. I’m honored to be part of that journey.*

FAQ

What kinds of Payment do you take?

I accept Venmo, PayPal, $Cash App, Apple Pay, Cash, and Check.

Is Rolfing painful?

Not in this practice. I check in often and tailor everything to your body and comfort. Some people like deeper work, others prefer a lighter touch. Either way, you’re in control.

What should I wear?

Shorts or stretchy clothes work best. Some people feel fine in underwear, others prefer sportswear—you do what makes you feel comfortable. You’ll be covered with a sheet or towel too.

What if I’ve never done this before?

Perfect. You don’t need to know anything or explain anything. I’ll guide you every step of the way.

I’m visiting—can I do just one session?

Absolutely. Many travelers find even one session can make a big difference in how they feel during or after their trip. Some return year after year.
